Nemo Veiling 

Nemoveiling.nl is a leading online auction house in Emmen, serving private and business clients with a wide variety of voluntary and public auctions. Nemoveiling.nl approached us to create a custom auction platform, leveraging our expertise in Shopware. Recognizing that auction websites require unique functionalities, we developed numerous custom features and adapted the Shopware CMS to meet their needs. Despite Shopware 6 being relatively new, we found it to be the ideal fit.

 

The Challenge

One of the challenges we faced during the development of the auction platform for Nemoveiling.nl was that we needed to customize Shopware 6 significantly. Unlike traditional webshops, auction platforms require real-time bidding features, dynamic lot updates, and unique user interactions. Navigating the complexities of Shopware's structure while ensuring a seamless user experience demanded innovative solutions and extensive trial and error.

Additionally, we had to integrate various payment systems and ensure robust security measures to protect user data and transactions. The challenge of learning Shopware 6 while facing tight deadlines pushed our team to be more creative and work closely together. In the end, these difficulties helped us gain a better understanding of the platform and led to a more customized solution for Nemoveiling.nl.

Our collaboration with Nemoveiling.nl was very important for the project’s success. From the start, we had clear conversations to understand their vision and needs. This teamwork helped us gather useful ideas for our design.

We regularly discussed feedback to make sure the design met their needs.
