Build your Shopware webshop with a certified partner
We have been building Shopware webshops since 2018. Memo is both a Shopware Bronze Partner and a Shopware Extension Partner, with seven valid Shopware 6 certifications in the team and six of our own extensions in the official Shopware Store.
From a B2B ordering portal with customer specific pricing to the connection with your ERP, and from our own extensions to the official Shopware plugin we developed for PostNL.
Why Shopware
Shopware is an open source platform from Germany. You can run it free of charge with the Community Edition, or on a commercial plan (Rise, Evolve or Beyond) once your revenue calls for it.
What sets it apart: a lot is already there before you start adding plugins. We deliberately run Shopware on-premise, so you keep control over hosting, performance and customisation, and we put the integrations in a separate layer.
- Shopping Experiences: build pages without a developer
- Rule Builder: pricing and payment rules without code
- Flow Builder: automate approvals and notifications
- API-first: connect ERP, PIM and WMS without detours
- Multi-storefront: several brands and languages on one installation
- B2B built in: customer pricing and quotes from the platform itself
Business partner and extension partner
Almost every agency that works with Shopware is a Shopware business partner. Being an extension partner is something else: it means we build extensions that pass Shopware's official review and are listed in the Shopware Store, where merchants install and rate them. If you publish extensions, you cannot afford custom code that falls over on the next release. The same standards are what we use in client projects.
π Bronze Partner since 2018
A direct relationship with Shopware and more than eight years of experience in webshop development. Shopware lists B2B, migrations, interface and app development and third party integrations among our specialisations.
π Shopware Extension Partner
Six of our own extensions in the official Shopware Store with a five star average. That code runs in shops we have never seen, on versions of Shopware that did not exist when it was written.
π Seven Shopware 6 certifications
Three Certified Backend Developers, two Certified Frontend Developers and two developers at intermediate level. No account manager between you and the people building your shop.
π The PostNL plugin for Shopware 6
We developed the official PostNL extension for Shopware 6: labels and barcodes, domestic and international shipments, return labels, delivery options in the checkout and address validation, for Dutch and Belgian webshops.
What we help with
Each topic below has its own page, because the questions behind them are different. From what a Shopware project costs to the connection with your ERP, and from migration to extensions for technology partners.
Who we build for
Broadly speaking, three kinds of client find their way to us.
Wholesalers and manufacturers with a business customer base, who want to digitise their ordering process without giving up their pricing agreements and account structure. For Boomlab, a laboratory wholesaler serving the Benelux, we built exactly that combination of Shopware and Alumio.
Brands and retailers reaching scale and running into their integration landscape. At XXL Nutrition the work was about structuring the integrations and connecting a WMS. For Kempers.de we built the Shopware 6 front end for the German market.
Technology companies that want to reach Shopware merchants with their own product, such as PostNL. For them an extension is not an IT project but a distribution channel.
How we work
We start with the question behind the question. Half an hour is usually enough to establish whether your problem sits in the platform, in the integrations, in the hosting or in the process.
Next comes a solution architecture phase in which we map the data landscape: which system owns which data, which flows exist, and what that means for Shopware. This is the phase in which most later costs are avoided.
We build in short iterations with deliverable results, so you are not waiting nine months for a launch. After go live the same team stays available for maintenance, Shopware updates and further development. We are a team in Emmen that speaks Dutch and English, with short lines and no account manager between you and the developer.

Frequently asked questions
Is Shopware free?
The Community Edition is open source and free to use, but under the Fair Usage Policy that only applies below β¬1 million in annual gross merchandise value. Above that you need a commercial plan (Rise, Evolve or Beyond). One important detail: GMV is measured per installation and adds up all your sales channels, and marketplace revenue counts too. More on the costs page.
Can I migrate my current webshop to Shopware?
Yes. We have migrated shops from Magento, Shopware 5 and Shopify. Products, categories, customers, orders and content can be moved technically; the risks sit in customer specific pricing, legacy custom logic and your URL structure. The migration page sets out the available routes and how we limit SEO losses.
Is Shopware suitable for B2B?
Yes, and it is one of the platform's strongest sides. Customer specific pricing, volume tiers, quotes, user roles and budgets live in the B2B functionality rather than in separate plugins. With B2B Components that has become modular. Which parts you can switch on depends on your Shopware licence. See the B2B page.
Do you also develop plugins for other companies?
Yes. As a Shopware Extension Partner we build extensions listed in the official Shopware Store, both our own and those of technology partners. The PostNL plugin for Shopware 6 is the best known example. See Shopware integration for technology partners.
Do you work with companies outside your region?
Yes. We are based in Emmen and work throughout the Netherlands and Belgium, and for Kempers.de on the German market as well. Most of the work happens remotely, with periodic on-site sessions where that helps.
