Shopware 6.7.1 version is now available

Shopware released version 6.7.1 on July 24, 2025. In this blog, we explain the most important changes clearly and simply.

What’s new in Shopware 6.7.1?

In today's blog we discuss the latest Shopware version, namely 6.7.1. This version includes several helpful updates for merchants. Firstly, we will discuss the newest feature that allows you to set measurement units per sales channel.

1. Set measurement units per sales channel or domain

You can now choose whether your webshop uses metric units (centimeters, kilograms) or imperial units (inches, pounds).
This can be set:

  • Globally (for the whole shop)

  • Per sales channel

  • Or even per domain

Why this is useful:
Your customers, who might be in different countries, will now see the right measurements without manual conversion. For example: UK customers see inches, while EU customers see centimeters.

2. New AI tools

Shopware introduced several cloud-based AI tools. These tools are part of “Shopware Services” and are easy to activate in the admin area.

Here are the main ones:

a. Shopware Copilot (Beta)

This is a smart assistant built into the admin panel. You can ask questions like:

  • “How do I add a new product?”

  • “Where can I update my shipping policy?”

It helps you find answers quickly, without searching in documentation.

b. AI Image Editor (Beta)

You can now edit product images directly in Shopware. Use it to:

  • Remove backgrounds

  • Add shadows

  • Place products in different scenes. The AI adjusts lighting and details automatically to make it look realistic.

c. 3D Preview Generator (Beta)

When you upload a 3D file (.glb), Shopware creates a preview image for you. This image will be shown in the product gallery and listings and no extra setup is needed here.

3. Improved Augmented Reality (AR)

Shopware’s AR feature helps customers see products in their space using their phone. Two improvements have been added:

  • QR codes now link directly to the AR view (no more redirects to image galleries).

  • You can now place products on the walls in certain rooms as well as floors, useful for TVs, art, or shelves.

4. Better tools for B2B shops

a. Organization Units

You are now able to create internal structures for B2B customers. For example, departments or locations.
You can assign people, set payment options, and define rules per unit.

b. Advanced Product Catalogs

Show specific products to certain customer groups.
If a product isn’t assigned to a group, it’s completely hidden, even if someone tries to open the link.

Important to know is that these features are available in Shopware Evolve and Beyond.

5. Delivery times per warehouse group

If you use multiple warehouses, you can now set different delivery times per warehouse group.
This gives you more control and flexibility in managing stock and shipping expectations.

Conclusion

These updates make Shopware more flexible and powerful, especially for international and B2B shops. Many features (like the AI tools) are part of Shopware’s commercial plans (Rise, Evolve, and Beyond), and need to be activated in the admin via Shopware Services.
